I want to get an earlier flight (early morning as opposed to late morning) from ADL to SYD next week - and wondering what the best way to do this is without screwing up all my seat selections (I fly out from SYD internationally after this leg).

1) Call FF hotline (I am platinum)
2) Change flights online through "My Bookings" (can I do this? can't see this yet although flights haven't been paid for yet)
3) Turn up early on the day and change it at the counter

What's best? When I've changed flights previously I've had problems with the advanced seat selections - so I'm hesitant to do it.

Same day international departure? I'd go early to ADL, checkin and get the BP for the international leg.

If not, do it online and checking seat selection immediately after the change - even if seating changed, your original selections should still be free.

Good advice dude, thx. Think I'll just turn up early.
