Best value credit card to travel conversion

Hello all,

Just wondering what the best conversion of expenditure on credit cards to domestic travel is.

My Macquarie Platinum Visa allows me to convert 10,000 of expenditure into 100 of travel, so 1 cent of travel per dollar spent.

This seems higher than a quoted 0.5 cent of travel per dollar spent I have seen quoted on this site.

Any insights on what the best credit card is on which to spend money to then redeem domestic travel.
