Hi

I am heading to India in a few weeks and Kingfisher look to have the flights I want at the times of the day I need.

My question is, what is the best destination for the mileage accrual? I am mainly aiming for velocity and sia krisflyer points, but I don't think there is anyway to push them across.

Should I sign up with emirates? Or do I start a kingfisher account.

I will probably be doing 2 or 3 more trips to India in the next 12 months.

I travel to India about 10 times a year and at this stage I would not bother about Kingfisher FFP. 2-3 times a year is hardly enough. Also with the schedules the way they are, even though I prefer to fly Kingfisher (it is truly an amasing airline) I more often than not end up on Jet (where you can earn miles on QF, NWA and UA from memory) and assorted others. if you have NWA FFP I would just put my miles in there (IMHO) otherwise you will end up with orphan miles. So if you ever fly Jet you can also use your Worldperks (or whatever they will becalled when Delta takes over the program). If you intend to fly on Emirates a lot it may be worth joining that, otherwise just enjoy the service and remember you cannot get every point in the world

Hmmm difficult one. What about putting them into Continental. Get to 15,000 miles and return domestic flight in Oz on QF? Or wait and they will become a * partner (CO not kingfisher) eventually....
