Hi,

I recently signed up for the amazing 110,000 point offer through an AMEX referal with the intention of booking a return economy trip SYD-LON (Heathrow) Economy

I have no preference on when I travel (sometime on 2016)

I'm wondering your opinions on when is the best time to use the points to book the trip for the lowest amount possible... i have been looking and see you can sometimes get fares for about 65,000 points each way

Cheers

Redemption points don't change but availability does with Christmas, Easter and European summer being the hardest times to find fares to UK/Europe. If you're booking this fare ahead you should be ok. Redemptions come available for booking 330 days before the flight.

Book as soon as you see the dates you want at the cost you're willing to pay.

The rule for redemptions is basically '(s)he who hesitates is lost'.
