hi! Anyone have any recommendations? Two of us together, want to be away from kids. Well, and other passengers too but there you go...

We only have this leg on SQ on this plane.

Thanks!

2C/D would be my choice. ;)

If travelling Y Seat Guru recommends 81A/C (81H/K) on the top deck as it is exit row with only 2 seats.

It does however show that upstairs the seating is 2-4-2 so any pair of 2 would be good.

If you're flying economy then definitely go for upstairs - it's a smaller cabin and with the 2-4-2 config you can just get seats together without worrying who will fill the third seat!

It's a great cabin - i think you'd be comfy in any row.

I'd pay the extra for the exit row pair on the UD... last time I flew it was AUD$68 per person...

Well worth it IMO...

Upstairs, almost any A&C or H&K (I'm guessing you are flying Y). I once paid the extra for the exit row pair which was very nice, however people tended to congregate in front of us and chat which grew a bit annoying after a while.

Check seatguru, apparently some of the window seats don't have a usable bin which would be a pain.

Can't help with advice on keeping away from children on the flight. If I knew the secret to that I would be selling the advice for a fortune on ebay.

I love this aircraft on SQ, it's a joy to travel even in economy.
