Exit row window is very comfortable, so long as you have something to rest your feet on -ie carryon.
 
Agree with Markis, I always try to get exit row window. Failing that I'd rather an aisle seat that's not in an exit row for the seat-back storage.
 
PE Window seats on A380 have extra storage between the seat and the window - a bin similar to those found upstairs on J on the 744s. Comes in handy!
