Best option for SQ Status Match?

My wife and I are both QF Platinum (I'm also VA Platinum) and we have an upcoming trip that includes an SQ flight from SGN to SIN. Anyone know what the best chance is of getting a status match to Star Alliance? We'll be travelling with 4 kids so lounge access would be very helpful!

I've done a bit of searching and it seems SQ is a reasonable chance of a match but can't actually figure out how to request it. Any tips or suggestions for other avenues for matching would be much appreciated.

You already get SQ lounge access as a VA Plat (or Gold) with a SQ boarding pass. However it may be one child/guest per member...

Yep, which is the same as the allowance for KF Gold or *G. Qantas is a bit of an exception in allowing multiple children to be guested into lounges.
