BBQ and ribs at The Pit in Raleigh NC. Came with all the fixins'.

By the way - BBQ in the south is a pig cooked whole very slowly then meat taken out and covered in sauce. North Carolina BBQ sauce is based around vinegar.

* medium rare porterhouse steak with a creamy pumpkin / potato mash

Is it just me or are the press going a bit crazy over Paul the Octopus, with threats to turn him into Calamari - seems Masterchef and other shows still have a bit of work to do to convince people that Paul can never be Calamari ;)

Which reminds me to add another fav - Salt and Pepper Calamari at Golden Century with my boss paying :lol:
