Thanks for the thread. I was just thinking about this as well. It looks to me like the Citibank may be the better option (especially for OS travel) as it offers more points (1.5 Citibank points for AU transactions, 1 QFF point for transactions and 4 Citibank points for foreign transactions) and it is a VISA which is more widely accepted, but as a question.....does a "Citibank reward point" equal a VFF point or is it a 2 to 1 conversion ratio (can you transfer to VFF at all)?

Otherwise, it looks like it's more a QFF reward card rather than a VFF reward card.

Thanks.

So it is the same card that J-G linked to previously? Just that to gain the VFF points, you select Citibank reward points and not QFF reward points?

If so, seems like a good option.

Yes that link is for the Signature card. You just convert the Citi rewards points when you want to use them. T&C's state it can take 5 business days or longer. Does anyone know what the "usual" turnaround time is?

I did a tranfer a few weeks ago Citi Sig to Velocity and it took 3 business days.

I already have a signature card. But I've signed it up for the Qantas points transfer (the Qantas option costs $49/year, and the points get transferred every statement). I'm doing a fair few redemptions for domestic flights now, and it looks like Virgin gives better value. I'll start by asking them if I can get a second card so I can choose where to send my points :-)
