Im after some advice on best location for upcoming stay in Hong Kong
Travelling with my wife and 2 children 8 and 10
Can you recommend any hotels offering interconnecting rooms
Is it better to stay on the island?
Which hotel offers great skyline harbour views?
Is it easy and cheap to get to and from HK island?
Any site seeing advice appreciated
Also best shopping locations for mrs logic

People will all have different opinions on where to stay. Take that in and stay where ever you find the most appropriate deal accommodation deal. The views in HK vary greatly with the level of smog so you need to weigh that up in the big picture.

Regarding moving to/from the island. The MTR is so efficient that it really does not matter which area you stay. Along that line I would suggest getting an 'Octopus Card' on arrival at the airport as this works on all trains, trams, buses and even 711 stores.
