I have no status on QF so most of the cabin is blocked. Kids are 10 and 8. Should we take windows on both sides in two consecutive rows, or one row across, or...?
As they are 10 and 8 I’d definitely put the kids in the middle two and you and plus one take windows on either side of that.
The window seats are the best and that way you have a parent on each aisle with a junior.
Agree with this, mini-cabin is also a good idea. 11/12E both have good visibility over 12A (perhaps put younger one there) and there's a lavatory just one row away.

Thanks all for your (conficting!) input. For now, everything but rows 7, 8, 12 and some of 11 is blocked, and I'd prefer to keep away from 12 where it's close to the W cabin and potential bassinets. I've put us in 7A, 8A, 7K and 8K. So one parent can be with one child on each side.
