Best Hotel lounge regardless of brand?

Having just come down stairs from that lounge I have to agree with all your comments tuapekastar.

.... and they do now serve Moet & Chandon.

Thats great news if it is a permanent change. I gave feedback to them last year that the offering, while good and at least equal to other Conrad's, was significantly below that of comparably priced 5 star chains in Singapore. With the Westing coming online soonish they would need to make those small changes to offer a truly excellent experience.

I also found the lounge a bit small but the Pan Pacific was closed for renovations at the time.

Any co-incidence that Asian hotels are ranking so well?

Fullerton in Singapore
Sofitel Philippine Plaza in Manila
Ritz Carlton in HKG
IC in Sydney

My opinion- Cheap labour allows higher staffing levels. Local food prices mean the same club mark-up can provide a full meal rather than just snacks. Plus they are fairly service oriented and have some amazing skyscraper city's- so the lounges are frequently hogher and the views are better!

I second Australia being Park Hyatt Melbourne

But I think Singapore Hyatt is my favourite to date, expecting that the new Hyatt that opened last year in KL may do it better, haven't stayed there yet though.
I'll throw a spanner in the works...

Grand Hyatt Melbourne. Although, I do really really like the HSW lounge too. The little outdoor area is lovely for a sundowner drinking session too:)
