My Equifax is about to expire and I'm looking at the alternatives in this article

Equifax is the most commonly used by credit providers. Some report to Experian and Illion.

Clearscore allow you to track Illion and Experian for free.

I pay for Equifax and have an account with Clearscore.
In my experience I only get hits on credit applications from Equifax and nothing shows up in Clearscore for Illion and Experian until the account is actually setup and reporting.

There are three credit info holders, Equifax, Illion and Experian which hold different data depending on which credit providers use them for checks and reporting, apparently one of the services does two of the three so you might need two at the minimum and definitely don’t rely on just the one service.
