I have an award flight for HKG-SYD on 26th.

I will be in Singapore on 26th morning and am looking for the best way I can get to HKG and hopefully credit to QFF.

I am already aware of the EK flights from bkk-hkg but can't find a good deal J for sin-bkk. I've been looking in EF for any good tips without any luck.

I'd appreciate if any of you 'GURUs' can point me in the right direction and some tips.

Generally Swiss have the cheapest SIN-BKK J or Y fares. TG/SQ tend to be very expensive. Other option could be to take Jetstar Asia on a Jetflex fare which credits to QFF (obviously you're stuck on Jetstar though)

RJ flies the BKK<->HKG route on certain days. Their J fares seem ok, and can credit SC and FFp to QF

I did the BKK-HKG J route on RJ in January for A$310 (booked in July '08, now I think it's about A$450 because of the exchange rate). Certainly worth it IMHO. Excellent service, and the flight is usually empty (in Y & J) as everyone gets off in BKK from AMM.

This may be a case of where a good agent will come in handy. You can usually get the LX flight for about AUD250 plus tax as a consolidator type fare in J cabin.

KQ (Kenya Airways) offer a surprisingly good J cabin experience on their BKK-HKG flights and their fares are usually VERY good on this segment. If nothing else, it's a novel way to add another carrier to your "flown" list. :)
