Best CC for Starwood

Hi Guys,

I already have a Commonwealth Diamond Amex/MC and looking for another card to go to SPG. Happy to go for highest levels if the benefits are there. Big plus if I can dump ATO on it.

The Diners/MC combo offers is the best earning card for SPG I know of. DC can sometimes frustrate.
The Amex cards that earn MR points also transfer-earn rate lower but can mount up with category multipliers (eg supermarket with plat edge , restaurants with Plat charge)
T&Cs say no govt earn with the Diners MC. Amex-issued Amex not economically viable for govt spend
