Hi TeamAFF,
I am travelling to LA Sept 17 looking to find best card deal ATM for points and benefits to be able to get business return. Also what is the best time to buy these tickets for LA. As well looking for recommendations for golf courses near Las Vegas.

cheers

If you want award seats in a premium cabin for Sept 2017 you'll likely need to book SOON..or NOW. Award seats are released in the 330-350 day range...and the premium seats tend to go bloody quickly.

I was glad to get 2 Business class seats from AKL for next August.....couldn't get any from Oz....and THAT was one way.

Welcome to AFF.

This thread features some of the current sign-up bonus point offers that may be of interest: Current Credit Card Promotions

In particular, have a look at the Amex Explorer, ANZ Frequent Flyer Back and HSBC Platinum Qantas cards.

You'll need ~200,000 Qantas or Velocity points for return business class tickets to Los Angeles.

Welcome to AFF Poppeye!

These seats to USA generally go quickly. Have you chosen an airline? Qantas fuel surcharges are much higher than Velocity fuel surcharges. Have you looked at current availability around the dates you want to go?

Welcome :)

Is this the right place to be asking this question?
