Any opinions ? I am an Advantage Plus member and like everyone its Platinum. I also have Priority Privilege with Platinum if the accommodation options are better.

Novotel is a nice property as is Sebel East Perth. Keep in mind the latter doesn't have any f&b options.

Is Sebel now giving points under the Accor program? Good to hear if they finally are!

The Novotel is pretty good - I normally stay there and you can sometimes get it cheaper than the Mercure or Ibis. Don't normally get room upgrades there but I've often been given a bottle of wine in my room as a gift but I have stayed there a lot.

I have found that Platinum benefits depend a lot on frequency of repeat visits.

My work trips to Perth are only a couple of times a year but I will choose one and stick to it.

For the hotels in Perth there are no real platinum benefits, but certainly individual properties do acknowledge their own regulars. I stay at the Novotel a few times a year, and I've had a couple of upgrades.
