Hi all,

My parents will be flying first class for the first time from Sydney to Zurich with a week stop over in Singapore.

Which lounges are the best ones to visit on this trip?

Thanks!

Since thread has been created in SQ directory assume they are flying SQ R/F? If YES then SKL F in SYD / TPR in SIN both on arr if reqd and pre dep - if ret from ZRH on SQ then new Senator lounge in ZRH / TPR in SIN.

Yep flying Singapore Airlines return. Also are there any other lounges worth checking out?

Thanks guys!

Not really. The First class lounge in ZRH is not an eligible lounge for star alliance airlines. So the Senator lounge is it. Otherwise the lounges Cruiser listed are the best available.

Has any AFFer actually eaten breakfast in Senator F Lounge E in ZRH? We will be o/n ZRH July 8 prior to SQ R back to SIN - Radisson Blu $281/nt or add $71 if breakfast included so just wondering as to actual quality of bfast on offer within Lounge?

We had breakfast in ZRH F senator lounge when flying suites. Had a little egg station for omelettes, muesli, muffins, fruit salad etc. For us, it was more than sufficient given the onslaught of food when flying suites once boarded. Importantly, the coffee was good. It's a fairly early departure from ZRH, so I wouldn't have seen a lot of value in $71 breakfast over the F lounge.

I had eggs poached to order with some pretty good sausages and a pretzel roll.

It is better than the SQ J in SIN but not the TPR (obviously).

Seriously though if you have even a cursory interest in whisky don't waste too much time eating. The whisky bar is much more interesting.
