Benefits of Gold Membership

I'm only a newbie on this forum, but already I have got some gret info from it, so I'd like to pay for the gold membership.
But want to check something first. I'm just a lowly bronze QFF and my renewal from memory is $425. If I join the FFF Gold for $50, I save $70 on my renewal (if i've got it right). And the renewal puts me into a Corporate card???
Somewhere I thought corporate renewals were higher than non corporate, but maybe I'm wrong.
I can see the other advantages, but I'm just trying to clarify some basic details in my fuzzy mind!!

FlyboyAl, welcome to AFF! Corporate rates will always be cheaper than what is available to the general public. Even taking into account the $50 fee to join AFF you're right, you will still make a saving.

FlyboyAl, welcome to AFF. You are correct that taking out a Gold membership with Australian Frequent Flyer will allow you to participate in the AFF Corporate Membership of Qantas Club at a discounted rate off the usual non-Corporate renewal rate.

Details of how to submit your Qantas Club Corporate membership is included here. I suspect the prices in that thread may not be up to date. For all the latest prices and processes, send a PM to Admin and he will provide all the guidance you need. I do believe the discount is still $70 off the standard renewal rate and of course AFF Gold Membership is still $50 so you are ahead already before considering the other benefits of AFF Gold Membership.

To summarise the process, you will download the Qantas Club Membership application form from Qantas and fill in your details and send it to AFF along with payment made out to Qantas. Admin will then complete the AFF Corporate Membership details on your applicatio form and send it off to Qantas.

Currently, for an Oz resident:

• a one year membership via AFF is a GST inclusive $555 (including joining fee). (Normally $775).
• Annual Renewal is $325 (v $405).
