Being stuck on VA online booking (Au dom)

Is this the spot every one gets stuck at?
Not moving at all, 4th try.
Looks like I have to give up this VA online booking and go back to QF to fly from niw on.
Bugger it, going to make a QF booking now.
Sorry, anyone else who gets stuck at the same spot can comment on, have to get some sleep soon.
VA is doing my head in.

Yes, it happened to me yesterday. I cleared my cookie blocker and reloaded the page to finish the booking (then I re-started the cookie blocker and cleared the cookies which had slipped through).

Try deleting temp files and cookies before starting the booking process.

Anniversary ends end of this Jul so lost SC for this trip to see snow!

i get stuck anytime i use chrome for a VA booking at the credit card details - just switched to IE and its fine, couldnt be bothered trying to troubleshoot the browser files

Had all sorts of problems last night trying to book tickets with VA through their website. Ended up calling to do it over the phone. The kind and generous Rep told me that as a courtesy, he'll waive the $35 telephone booking fee, but "just this once"

I almost lost it.

I found it interesting that the VA booking engine REQUIRED cookies (in chrome at least) to finalise the payment.

I'm a little suspicious that 95% of the shopping websites in the world can implement an online purchasing portal without enforcing cookies, but VA require cookies.

Either VA site techs are inept or VA prioritise collection of your personal information over a well implemented site.

But as Pooch has shown, most people who encounter this 'bug' will probably give up and book on a competitor - so a backfire for VA if this is deliberate.

Have never tried the QP at CBRd airport, so this will be my try for that.
Would have been happy to book by phone today, but then found that all up, QF charged me $479.xx, $240 x 2, where as VA wanted $265 and $235.01, so yah, competitor wins, ...
Was afraid the QF fare might go up, to $510 or so, for a next week dep from ADL to MEL to CBR, CBR to SYD to ADL, so booked very late 30/06.
But will try the cookies deleting next time I book VA.
