Barista in J lounge

I'm in the CBR J Lounge and just ordered a hot chocolate! I thought that they end it at 3pm but the barista said that they have been making coffees etc til close for a while now. Did anyone know this? Is it just a CBR thing? Anyone able to confirm that the other capital cities have the barista running in the J lounge all day now?
 
I can tell you that there was no barista in the MEL J lounge, between 7:30 AM and 8:35 AM on Sunday 5th August 2012.

Yeah, I noticed that they don't have the barisa running in the mornings on weekend.
 
definitely been available in SYD J after 5pm. You just have to ask at the bar.
 
My experience all day in J lounge during the week but not on the weekend any time. Something special for the business traveller!!!???

melb j on weekends seems like yes- the lady at the bar doubles as the barista if you ask her- she seems semi-happy to do it!!
 
I was under the impression that barista service in the J Lounge was until 3pm weekdays in all DOM J Lounges.

I did have a lengthy chat with the manager of the Sydney Lounge at some point where I said I would value a barista service on weekends very much - I haven't yet seen it.
 
Barista in the MEL J Lounge today. (Saturday :shock:) :):)
 
I had one on Saturday morning in the Brisbane J Lounge too - I got the "How was QANTAS?" survey for this flight and heaped praise on them for having a weekend barista service!
 
Barista in the SYD J Lounge today......but no food! (I suspect I'm caught between breakfast and lunch.)
 
Barista, in the CBR J Lounge y'day (Sat 17th Nov) was a disappointment, the coffee's were very weak and the Barista was very disorganised, i saw her pour a coffee shot from a flatwhite/cappucino cup in to a latte glass for the previous FFyer.

The popcake pancakes were underdone as well, not crispy on the outside and very moist (uncooked) on the inside...

Maybe this was an off day, I normally look forward to the CBR J Lounge, the best domestic J lounge IMHO.
