If you could choose the colour of your Bar Cart - which would you choose?

For me, the origin and history of the cart is the most important thing... so it would need to be in the condition it was used on board, with tags... not a new copy, or coloured, etc.

In this age though you might have to recreate the experience by buying the plain aluminium cart and by crashing and bashing it around home, while reciting flight numbers and destinations in a loud voice, to make it look like the real thing. Even pushing it down steps to recreate the journey of the rogue cart on the Qantas A380 that got loose up on the top deck and headed down the stairs.

Agreed, the whole point is the history of the piece.

It's like comparing a beat up guitar once used on stage by Eddie Van Halen, with one off the shelf at at guitar shop.

And of course, if you have people round and they're sitting in your lounge, bumping it into their knees and not apologise.
 
I guess the question is whether you want the cart, period, when they are very hard to come by, or just want a replica cart.
