Has anyone flown Bamboo Airlines to/from Australia to Vietnam? From what i can tell they operate the 787-9 dreamliner on this route which i thought is meant to have a section of "premium economy" but they don't seem to sell a premium economy fare. When going through the booking process to the seat upgrade options are a bit confusing and none seem to be premium in any way. I really want extra leg room, so either premium economy or exit row but even their seat map during seat selection is different to that on seatmaps.com so either they operate multiple layouts of the aircraft or something is wrong somewhere. Does anyone have more insight into this?

To make matters more confusing when i try to chat with their customer support agents they simply tell me to select premium seat at booking... which is not even an option. :D

OK so to follow up on this i finally managed to get through to speak to a care agents and it was basically all bad news. They said it is random that if the plane that is locked in for that flight, whenever that happens, will have premium seats. If it does you can pay to upgrade about $160. But could not say how far in advance it would be or any other useful information.

Also said there are no exit row/extra leg room seats at all, which just sounds odd? Very uninspiring to say the least.
