hi,

Hi, need some advice guys - I am travelling to bali from 3rd to 14th jan 2011. I am arriving by jetstar at 9pm the 3rd but want to get to bangkok that night then return to bali on the 7th. The returning flight is no problem, i am having trouble trying to get a available flight to bangkok on the 3rd after 9-10pm. I dont want to have to go through customs - immigration the same night in bali then just have to come back in the morning to do it again on the 4th to fly to bangok. Anybody no a solution or a airline that flies out late to bangkok?>

cheers

scott

Welcome to AFF.

There appear to be no direct flights. You don't have many options, but if time is the priority there are KLM and Qatar flights departing for Singapore about the times you mentioned. From there you can overnight in SIN - which is one of the better airports to do so - and depart for BKK early on one of several carriers.

Cost wise, it may be better to just change your original flight straight to BKK, depending on who you're flying.

There used to be a connection to HKG that matched ok if that's an option for your plans / onward travel?

Not a great deal of options, you could get a flight to Singapore that evening, transit overnight at Changi airport then a flight to Bangkok.
Alternatively clear customs/immigration and come back in the morning for the direct Airasia flight to Bangkok that leaves late morning.
