QF6 was over an hour late, so we missed the connection to Brisbane. Not too much of an issue since there is a flight three hours later.

However the luggage side of things was not fun. No problems with having to do it, but a) the priority tags on the bags meant nothing as our bags came out almost dead last (it happens) and b) subsequently terribly long queue for domestic baggage transfer to recheck back in. With no priority queue…

Ironically after dropping the bags a short stroll around the corner revealed a near empty main bag drop area. Surely can’t be that hard to improve this process.
