Baggage check-in

Hi again folks, looking for more advice, please.

I’m travelling GLA - LGW on BA, then connecting to a CX flight LGW - BNE via HKG. Bookings are on separate tickets.

Does anyone know if I will be able to check my bags all the way through to BNE from GLA or will I need to collect them at LGW and re-check them for the CX flight?
