A quick question for the brains trust as I don't normally fly domestic with loads of baggage but am usually loaded to the hilt on international -

As a QFF Platinum do I only get 1x 23kg on a Q400 domestic flight or do I get the normal 2x 32kg that a WP gets for domestic flights (with no international component on the ticket)? Its the first time that I have had to be concerned about baggage limits on a domestic flight.

Na, your entitlement remain the same (2x32kg).

On the dash-8 however, your baggage may arrive on another flight, later, if weight limit is reached:

Exceptions to baggage allowances exist for certain destinations. Baggage carried above these allowances may not travel on the same flight due to aircraft weight restrictions.

Cheers!

BTW does anyone know if the rentatrolleys at MEL domestic can be paid for by card now or do I need to still take some round gold with me?
