Bacon ?! [for breakfast in J lounges]

My breakfast a few weeks ago in the Syd J Lounge. Haven't been back in there since though!

I find it curious how two very disparate religions have the same views on pork.

There not the disparate. Islam believes in the the Torah (which forms part of the Jewish teachings), as well as the books of the Gospel and Psalms. They beleive they are genuine revelations from god The core difference is the Qur'an builds on these teachings as they belive over time the other books became corrupt. So not a surprise that many Islamic beliefs are similar to Judaism. Islam even believes in Jesus, though as a prophet not the son of god.

Anyway I digress. Where is the pork bacon?

There was Bacon in the BNE, SYD and MEL lounges a couple of months ago when I was in Australia. Decent Bacon, yes, a little under-cooked, but still very decent!

The DXB J lounge serves "veal bacon" :shock:

My thoughts exactly when I first encountered "beef bacon" in Malaysia ~12 years ago.

There is only one type of bacon. Why confuse the issue with turkey, beef and veal?

Ok. Finally found the porcine delight in the CBR J lounge this morning ... Mmmmm bacon!
