Every time you write a TR on Japan I want to go even more. Thinking about buying the Lonely Planet book now to start planning. You certainly are able to show a variety of places away from the obvious places. Thanks a lot

Japan is such an inviting place....and so much variety you won't be bored for one trip or ten.

I'm still hoping my Nov San-in Coast & Mie trip can go ahead...otherwise might have to start planning for 2021!

Thanks for a great report. Haven't visited Japan yet but the last few years of reports in this section of the site have provided heaps of planning guidance.
