Have just booked BA 16 Sydney to London. Scored first class ! Is the turn around in Singapore (1.5 hrs) enough to check out the new first class Qantas lounge in Singapore?

Yes. But you haven't already done you may want to check out the BA first class Concorde bar - only for First class (not Concorde Club card holders as mentioned in the article below). It is quiet compared to the 'all-classes' QF F lounge, but the food is better in the QF lounge.

Congratulations on first class and first post! You may not have time for the new QR lounge as well...

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Yes. But you haven't already done so will also want to check out the BA first class Concorde bar - only for First class and ultra top-tier BA members (Concorde Room card holders). Compare with the QF first lounge that will have economy and business class passengers.

Can I still go in if Ive got a First class ticket using classic rewards points ...Or is it only for those who have paid !

I would try the QF first class lounge. The Concorde Bar has no windows so dark. The food is the same as in the general lounge. The staff go out to the lounge and put it on a plate. We haven't used the Concorde Lounge since our first visit. We have seen the attendants though plate up the food from the buffet.

As long as you are a first class passenger you are good to enter - award or cash ticket. The food will be better at Qantas, but you will have used the Qantas first class lounge in Sydney, and probably won't be too interested in eating I suspect.

To be honest I’d ditch both of those in favour of QR. Its better than either if it’s open.

In the current world that we live in, what a nice first-world problem to have :)

Honestly, I think they are all very good lounges. Whichever lounge you go for, enjoy @Flyer123!

@Flyer123 the QF First Lounge in SIN will be temporarily closed in case you're not already aware and you're flying then...

I was not aware...Flew first class Singapore to Melbourne last year and it was a week from opening so missed it then too!
The closure was announced over a week ago, which is possibly before you even booked your flight. However, as others have said, you can enjoy the Qatar First lounge.

I’m flying via Singapore on March 23, so am happy I will still get to visit the Qantas First Lounge (and Qatar’s). It is extremely rare for me to transit Singapore.
