BA codeshares ex-SYD

Hi
A colleague needs four BA flights to achieve BA Silver. Are there any codeshares on any metal ex-Oz that he could fly to meet the requirement without having to do a long haul to SIN?
The domestic BA flights (SYD-MEL) can only be booked as part of a Int'l itinerary. Do these have to be BA connecting flights or could you do connect from a QF flight from say AKL?

I think BA codeshares are the same deal as overseas QF codeshares. ie part of a BA international itinerary. It is possible though that only 1 return international flight will be required to get the 4 BA flights. Not sure how to do it from SYD but easily possible from BNE. eg

BNE-BKK on Expedia for travel on January 29 has the following flights via SYD for ~AUD1,478

BNE-SYD BA7457
SYD-BKK BA10
BKK-SYD BA9
SYD-BNE BA7458

There are many other possible combinations.

Thanks JohnK - that's cheaper than the 4 flights I suggested (SYD-SIN-SYD-SIN-SYD)

There are also some across the ditch, but not sure about cost - sometimes very expensive as a BA flight.

I'd say they are about on par with everyone else.

Maybe I am not reading it right e.g. isn't QF & DJ, for example saying you can cancel and get a refund/credit wheras BA is only allowing deferral of travel for 14 days?
