My mother (late 70s) and one of my siblings will be on BA 15 in Sept and I would like to book them good seats. This will be their 1st time with BA and their 1st time ever in business class. Coming back from LHR they are on BA 11 to Singapore then BA 16 to Syd. We have paid the extra to select seats, as I couldn't risk them being seated apart, so at this stage they have 14a & b on BA 15 and BA 16; 18a & b on BA 11 - just wondering what would be best for them? Any suggestions from flyers who know these routes and the BA product would be greatly appreciated as I want this to be a fabulous flight for them both. Thank you

BA 11 is operated by a 747 aircraft. The best seats are in the upper deck as it's smaller and less traffic.
64 A/B and 64 J/K would be my pic followed by 62 A/B J/K
BA 15/16 is a 777 all seats are on the main deck. The best seats are 16 A/B J/K as you don't have to step around your travelling companion in B/J to get to the aisle. Some people swear by the middle seat pairs E/F so 16 E/F is another good option.

The middle seats allow you to sit together......but, even when traveling with MrsH I would go for A and B or J and K. It does however mean that one is facing forward and the other to the to the rear. With the divider down I think it works. Personally I prefer BA to QF in J (Business)

I have been fortunate to have been upgraded to upstairs in the 747 and i have no complaints at all. Enjoy!!!

We have just flown BA 747 from LHR…sitting in QF lounge Singapore right now waiting for flight. We had 62 J & K. Couldn't be better. The inside seat is exit row so has lots of room to stretch out if one of you is tall plus access to the isle is easy as there is no one to step over. The 2 crew up there were the best too! couldn't fault the flight.

Hope this helps.
