I was just about to book a oneworld award that includes travel on BA from LHR-KEF. It seems that most BA availability on Qantas.com has disappeared. There are a few flights to and from the US, but everything within Europe had disappeared. Seats are available when checking BA.com, but Qantas has absolutely nothing.

Glitch? Or has there been a recent change?

I suspect it's a glitch with the Qantas website as I came across a similar issue earlier today. The QF call centre could see the seats, but I kept getting an error message trying to find them online.

If you can see the seats on the AA website, you should be able to book them over the phone with QF.

Thanks matt. I was trying to avoid the 2 hour phone call! Might be stuck doing it though

This could be an incentive to book a status run and level up to WP. The call queue is much shorter when ringing up as a WP.

I plan to burn these points and not fly Qantas again if I can help it!

Gave up after an hour on hold. Tried the online chat person but just got the copied and pasted "award availability is limited", "the website shows all you can book" etc

That's helpful. I was hoping that would be the case.

The QF multi city booking seems to be having a lot of problems... not showing flights, showing no AA flights (TATL), not allowing connections. Very frustrating :(

For those following this issue, BA awards seem to be back and available on the website today.

I had an award to book but was waiting for points to come through. They came through after Woolworths transfer yesterday... and no BA seats showing. Tried online chat yesterday afternoon, they were absolutely no help at all. Tried calling, but after hearing the 1 hour+ wait time, decided I had better ways to spend my time. My plan was just to take a chance and wait for the website to start showing BA seats again.

Just now thought I'd check if website is back and success... seats showing, awards booked. Done.
