BA's first A380 has had its first (transfer) flight November 9

Seat map is here from Thebasource British Airways Airbus A380 14F/97J/55W/303Y Seat Map although they do say its peliminary
Confirg is Airbus A380 469 seats - 14F/97J/55W/303Y. Seating is mixed downstairs F, J and Y, upstairs J, Y+ and Y

Doesnt look good in that configuration as it appears economy customers on the lower deck will have to shuffle through business to economy I can only see this as very annoying for J Class customers.

Unless you get to smile at them and see there admiring/envious glances... :) Now if you had like 200 people filing past it might get a bit much!!!

Could be the one time a rear facing seat would be advantageous :D and not have to look at the great unwashed pommy :D Oh and I am a POM

I wondered that myself and obviously if they are only using front doors that will be a problem. With the front and midway loading I think its ok F turn left, J turn right. Midway or rear doors Econ turn right or left and right.
Upstairs I am not sure I think it works but if loading Y and Y+ from the top door then J will be hassled but if they bring econ through the lower door and up the stairs….
As they say if preliminary so will wait to see what the final version is. I like the layout for toilets and galleys I think fits better. If it comes to SIN I would be happy to try

I have done that before on the BA777 prior to a flight SYD-SIN-LHR where I had some friends down the back, did priority boarding and was sipping champagne when they were shuffling to the back

Ah well that is a bit cruel with friends... Well maybe not... :)

But on FRA-BKK earlier this year on the TG 773 with the herringbone layout some Y passengers had to file by and put up with my grin... :)
