Anyone had the pleasure/displeasure of flying BA LHR to DEN on a 777 (2 class)for 9.40 hours in club. Just wondering what the BA config is like.

Would I be better flying to ORD 777(3 class) in club, then AA to Denver perhaps.

Note that BA's 777's are all configured with World Traveller Plus cabin, so are either 3 or 4 class configurations.

The Club World seats are the same on all BA 777 aircraft, whether or not they have a first class cabin. The food and service should be the same.

So take the most direct route or the flight with the best schedule. There is no point in routing via ORD and connecting to an AA domestic flight just so you can walk through an F cabin to get to your club world seat.

Ok I accept WT+ is another seat type, but isn't it just more leg room but the same service/meals etc. Also I dont remember walking through first to business (club), is this a 777 layout?

In regards to the club seats, does this mean the reverse seating applies.

Yes, WT+ is another class. It has a separate booking code and fare price. Seats are wider, recline more and more pitch that WT seats. The meal service is the same as WT. This differs from say UA's E+ where they use seats with more pitch for elite FF members paying economy fares. BA certainly consider WT+ to be its own class, and they refer to their F/CW/WT+/WT configured aircraft as 4-class configuration.

Well that would depend on which door is used to enter the aircraft. Door 1L is right at the front and everyone (except the pilots) needs to turn right and walk through the F cabin. If you enter via door 2L then you are entering the aircraft behind the F cabin and forward of the CW cabin, so turn left for F and right for everything else. Which door is used depends on the airport and the gate in use.

The Club Word seating in the 777 is the same as the lower deck of the 747, being 2 x 4 x 2, with the aisle seats all facing forwards and the window and middle seats all facing backwards.
