I dunno, my first thought for most of them was some people must really struggle with life.

I tend to agree with you.....what a boring list!

I can recall more than what's on that list and I'm just one traveller.

One experience which has tended to stay in my memory was having an M16 held to my head by a member of the RUC in downtown Belfast during the not-so-salubrious years of recent Irish history. Another was desperately trying to sell a car O/S without being ripped off too badly, to be able to afford a ticket home! What about losing a suitcase after a long flight with way too many free Beveridge's and not being able to describe the missing contents with anything more than "my toothbrush" (that was a friend of mine....not me). Ah the memories of youth! Surely this forum must be able to compile a better list than that one! If Malcolm Fraser was still alive, he could have added a great yarn about losing his strides!
