We're all aware that come the 1st April, most flights (ex Perth) on QF will go through Dubai and then on to whatever European destination on Emirates. What other options are there, especially for award bookings ?

I guess there's MAS via KL, Cathay via HK and BA via Sin ?

Via NRT and BA to LHR but you'll have to visit MEL or SYD en route or somewhere else more imaginative. Also via KIX and possibly AY via HEL. From BKK you can use RJ via AMM. It's a bit longer for you but from SYD there are also some one-stop trips to Europe via DFW.

Told by my TA (handles a lot of corporates) that she's see a very large increase on requests for Europe on AY via HEL for the period after April. They are doing a 'Lufthansa' and packaging up the Australia-HKG/SIN legs with their own network within Europe to present a quite attractive pricing alternative to Europe. Talking paid here, not award as mainly asked by OP.

She said that during that crazy period when QF were just loading the code shares and routes, and some bizarre pricings were up, she did way more AY (and CX) and very little QF/EY.
