Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

My understanding from reading it is that the Q surcharge to Dallas applies to all tickets except awards, however the "peak" surcharge applies to everything including award bookings..

Just checked, as an example MEL-DXB award flights and the surcharges are no different on Fridays vs earlier in the week using points, so it sounds like good news that they don't apply to award bookings.

Surely the way QF handle peaks for award booking is via availability (or more likely non-availability).

I was going to check as well if the $200 surcharge applied to MEL-DXB during peak periods, and I couldn't find any awards seats during peak periods. :)
