I believe that we have to pay tax,

If I pay the tax with my credit card in australia. is it gonna be ok?

She will be travelling from SFO-SYD

I heard US quite nasty about credit card

I have never had this problem with AA but others have suggested you might. I believe you get around it by adding a zero to the start of your post code to make it 5 digits.

No i meant, i heard some asked to provide the credit card that they paid for the ticket

in this case im in Australia, she's in San Francisco and I paid the ticket (tax)

That can be correct, it should be on the airline web site, although before you say it, I'm sure it's buried deep in the fine print.
