Award seat availability for Diamond

Anyone know if MP Diamond members can request extra CX award seat release, in the same way QF does for WP?

YES. If you are Diamond and you ring up (can't use website) and ask for availability on something that is not available, they will often wait list you for an award and confirm it later when they release more seats. I've done this many times. The downside is that they often only release the seats a few days before the flight, so it can get a bit hair-raising if you have no alternative! But - touch wood- I've never been unable to get it yet.
