Hi all,

Full time reader, very much part time poster here. After a couple of years flying QF, points slowly going up, my better half and I are trying to find seats in J class BNE-HKG for Nov 2008. I am QF gold, looking on the QF FF site it is a sad story. I have even tried 2009, with limited sucess. I have about 370,000 to burn. Should I try CX One World points via QF phone res? As most flts are via SYD, even PER or even more strange on PX, direct BNE-HKG in J are more or less a no go. Any ideas would be most welcome. The better half hates non direct flts. But may just have to do it?

Thks,

Tonybne

The time to book QFF awards on international J class seats for Nov '08 is Dec '07 (When they become available at 353 days out).

This is especially true for 2 or more PAX.

Your best bet would be to contact QF and ask about availability.

On FT there is a thread that indicates you can join the BAEC (tell the on-line registration bot that you live in Austria :p) and do searches on CX.

J class BNE-HKG for Nov 2008

I recently had success booking J for MEL-SYD-HKG-MEL for 2 pax in August/September.

I had to call up and put a special request in to yield management. I'm PLAT though, so that may have been the reason I was given the seat.

From what I have heard, booking through QF for CX J is even harder. So your only avenue would be to call QF.

Good Luck.

Hi,
I believe no CX flights are on the QF website as the systems are incompatible. I have booked by ringing them in the past.
Cheers
