Avid points-enthusiast, now living in Melbourne

Hello all I'm danfl44 - neuroscientist in daily life and avid traveler, AV-geek and points enthusiast. I've been very active on Flytertalk and my own (Dutch) blog over the past 6-7 years, but thought it would be nice to join AFF as I'm living and working in Melbourne at the moment. I highly enjoy trying out different airlines (sweet spot for Air France and Singapore Airlines) to unique destinations (very fond of Latin-America). Well-versed in the US credit card market, having written out the proces of doing an Amex Global Transfer from my Dutch card. Together with Jongesander from Flyertalk I also run a small business booking preferred rates at luxury hotels (Hilton for Luxury, Accor HERA, Hyatt Prive, Four Seasons Preferred Partner and the like).
