Availability of voyager / star alliance seats mel to eur or usa

Any experts there in obtaining star alliance seats via Voyager redemption out there.

I have 500k miles and need to spend 240k in the next few days or they expire.

Out of Aus there doesn't seem to be much availability for two or three J class seats next year. While one would prefer to fly SQ, happy with TG.

Will try to avoid UA, but cant seem to get hold of NZ seats to LAX. Although UA will take us all the way through to JFK, supposedly.

Any online look up or ideas or experience anyone??
