Is anybody a GS and if so can you give me an outline of what sort travel requirements UA may have for GS level in Australia?

To qualify? Or requalify?

To qualify - nothing published but needs a lot of full fares on UA metal and UA issued tickets.

To requalify - one method has just been published, which is 50k in 2006 on UA metal and UA issued tickets in a bunch of high fare classes.

However qualification requirement will be much more than this.

Thanks for the response but I'm looking for an Australian UGS that qualified to give me what idea of their UA travels that initially qualified them. I appreciate that it may differ from a US UGS which is what I'm interested in. I've seen the EF thread on requalification but that's not really what I'm after.

The Australian based UGSes I know of all had well over 100k in high fare classes on UA metal and UA issued tickets.

I'm going to finish this year (joined UA in Feb) with 220K BIS miles UA metal/ticketed) all in W class or better (B class being the highest). This wouldn't be sufficient to get UGS in the US but it may be in Australia hence my search for Aussie UGS's.

How much of that is in the high fare classes YBMH?

Note other *A doesnt count, nor does UA flights unless on UA ticket stock.

It's all UA metal/tickets, approximately B/H 57K, balance in V/W.

That is significantly less than those I know based in Australia had in 2005 to qualify for 2006, and barely more than the published requalification requirement. I wouldn't count on UGS but who knows you could be lucky.
