ABC News- More information on 6 new cases in Victoria
Victorian Health Minister Martin Foley is speaking in Melbourne.
He says three of the six cases are linked to the Hobson's Bay outbreak, and three all live together in a household different from the original two cases reported yesterday.
Other three are from the Maribyrnong outbreak. One is a housemate of the index case (the warehouse worker in Derrimut). The housemate is a cleaner who has done a shift at the Epworth Hospital in Richmond, in the administration area, not in the wards and it was out of hours.
The other two live in a different household, with one a person who attends the Warringa Park Special School in Hopper's Crossing.
Also in the press conference, six people in Victoria are in hospital, two in ICU, both of whom are on ventilation.
Mr Foley reiterates the message to come out and get vaccinated when you are eligible.
"The supply issues constrain us, but continue to come forward and get vaccinated," he said.
