Sad news from Talisman Sabre this morning

Four crew missing after Australian Army chopper crashes off northern Queensland coast amid joint military exercise with US

Defence Minister Richard Marles says a search and rescue operation began immediately after the chopper crashed last night and the search is continuing this morning.

Crew of four still not found, which is a little surprising as a second aircraft was in the vicinity and some wreckage has been recovered.

This was a part of the search pattern being flown yesterday.
