Need to book flights from Adelaide to Queenstown for November.

I know there are no direct flights from Adelaide but was wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to a routing I can use. Via MEL? SYD?

Happy to fly any airline, just unsure how to route it!

Thanks

Personally I'd go AirNZ, route via AKL... They do a direct ADL - AKL, that way it's all booked as one and no mixing and matching of carriers. Plus there is only one stopover (unless you like that sort of thing)

Another option would be going with Jetstar via the Gold Coast can be done with only one stop. And is actually a bit shorter total distance than going via Auckland. Although their flights to Queenstown only seem to go a couple of times a week. And it leaves at 8:20am in the morning from Gold Coast so you would have to stay the night there.

Make sure you get a window seat, the view flying in and out is amazing (well really good anyway)

Thanks guys, all great ideas. Really looking forward to going.

I noticed with Air NZ that leaving direct to Auckland from Adelaide, you have to stay overnight to catch the early morning flight to Queenstown. Any idea if they fly earlier direct from the East Coast?
