Auckland to Samoa on Virgin- what is the latest I can checkin with just carry on ?

Sorry for such a basic question, I keep getting stupid times like 2 hrs before, 3 hrs before on the websites.

I arrive in Auckland at 30 mins past midnight. Am going to Novotel for a quick nap. Flight leaves at 7.00am. I figure I should be able to checkin at 6am surely ? with just carry on ?

Auckland to Samoa is an international service, so you'll need to show up at the counter to check in, so they can look at your passport etc.
Check in for international flights closes 60 mins before departure, so you'll need to make it to the counter before 6am.
