Apparently I - with zero Etihad guest miles and only having joined when I wanted to select seats on my AA miles EY F booking ;) - belong to a special group of people (hangers-on?) who have been invited to join ASMALLWORLD "the leading invitation-only lifestyle network" by Etihad . Groucho Marx's comment about belonging to a club comes to mind.

Anyone familiar with this 'lifestyle network'? Part of the blurb says:
ASMALLWORLD is the leading private international lifestyle club, founded in 2004, and by invitation only. Our members are internationally minded global citizens committed to opening up their lives to each other, sharing extraordinary experiences and ensuring that fellow members can live like locals wherever they go.

So, does it involve 'swingers' ?

Your Membership

For a small annual membership fee we keep the community private, tightly-knit, and free of advertising while offering incredible benefits. The annual membership fee also includes a small donation to the ASMALLWORLD Foundation.
The annual membership fee is $110 / €85 / £75 plus a 5-unit donation to the ASMALLWORLD Foundation.

Included or in addition, I wonder?

I have also been offered this exclusive offer. Zero EY activity - only a status match a year or two ago.

It is quite good if you travel to cities regularly and are looking for good places to eat / drink / stay. Skewed to higher end.

Often has good deals for members, including some lower level airline status offers (CX Silver last year as an example).

Also good discounts on many hotels, over and above what you'd get through FHR etc.
