I've never tried the HK one, but I tried the Shanghai branch and it was truly amazing. Great view on The Bund inside a historic building too.

Good varied mix in there, not just 50 flavours of France. Been to 7 of then, apparently.

Once again, another Asian list that ignores Philippines despite its terrific, varied and rapidly growing Metro Manila and Cebu City food scene epitomised by some very good restaurants whether in old Spanish colonial era houses or in malls such as Greenbelt, Makati. Two examples include Sala and My Kitchen by Chef Chris.

Why is it that despite Philippines growing economically at six to seven per cent annually (about the same as mainland China, but in a vibrant democracy not an authoritarian, repressive state) that so many Asian articles ignore this land of 100 million people that has the second friendliest people in the world according to the UK based Rough Guides?

The list also ignores Taipei, Taiwan, as vibrant a city as you will find anywhere.

Surprised La Maison 1888 is not there from Intercontinental Danang.

Have been to Nahm, was a little bit disappointed TBH.

Love Waku Ghin, have been there 3 times.

Definitely a few of the Japanese ones on my list to try.
